Brand guidelines

One identity across the website, LinkedIn posts, decks and documents. Molten orange on steel: the foundry where research is cast into companies.

← Back to the website

1. Logo

The mark is three rounded bars of decreasing length (kinetic motion, slowing as it arrives) meeting an orange ingot (the cast company). Keep clear space of one bar height on every side. Minimum size: 24 px for the mark, 96 px wide for the full lockup.

2. Colour

Orange is used once per composition, for the single most important element: the key word, the key number or the call to action. Everything else is steel and neutral.

4. Site themes

Forge (default)

Foundry Black ground, steel text, Molten Orange accent. For the website, LinkedIn cards and decks.

Daylight

Light ground for documents, print and partner decks. Uses Forge Orange for contrast.

Blueprint

Navy engineering grid for technical briefs, investor memos and event screens.

5. Visual language

  • Line-art motifs on dark ground: thin steel strokes, one orange element per drawing (the thing that matters).
  • Draw the actual technology: chip packages, ion flow, spectral cubes, radar arcs, fermenters, field lines.
  • Photography: real people at real places (labs, factories, circuits). No stock imagery.
  • Data: every number on a visual carries a source and a date in the footer line.
  • Motion: one orchestrated moment per surface (the kinetic field on the website). Respect reduced motion.

6. Voice

We sound like

  • An engineer who has sold to a factory
  • Specific, sourced, plain
  • “The gap is TRL 2→4.”

We avoid

  • Hype words and unsourced claims
  • Emoji as decoration
  • Naming partners without their permission

7. Collateral specs
